i brought some teeth whitening peroxide which is 33%. but i haven’t used it it yet.

does anyone know if i can still use the peroxide if i have a veneer (porcelain one).

if i use it it wont make it come off or melt it?

please if someone could answer this for me as i have search the web and cant find any answers

The hydrogen peroxide won’t affect the veneer itself. The problem for you, as you probably know, is that you will whiten the rest of your teeth and not the one with the veneer. Of course if your veneer is already slightly lighter this may work out for you perfectly.

If you had a traditional porcelain veneer you may feel increased sensitivity – read PAIN – with the peroxide treatment. When fitting the veneers, dentist shave the enamel and this makes your teeth way more sensitive.

Dentist actually clean the veneers with hydrogen peroxide, so it won’t melt them. You can see for yourself if your pour the solution in a porcelain cup the cup is not affected.

You may like to test on a small area and go from there.

I’ve heard its good to brush with, but if I put it in some old teeth whitening trays and leave it on for a long time will I do harm? Will it do nothing at all?

Baking soda and peroxide will work really well for this. There are great youtube videos to show you step by step how this is done.

I hear that it works but I am a little skeptical. If it does work how long does it take to see results?

Read the directions and warnings on tooth whitening products.
One is your age you should be over 18 due to the maturity of your teeth.
Second- messing with chemicals at home is not safe.
What is used in teeth whitening is a higher grade of peroxide.
If you are old enough be sure you stick a name brand, there are a lot of frauds that will do damage even permanent to your mouth.
Keep your teeth and gums in good shape with brushing and flossing and dental appointments.
Talk to your dentist about what they recommend.
If your teeth are yellowed, it probably is due to your intake of things like Mountain dew etc.
On the other hand, you may not have a real issue.
Tooth enamel is not naturally pure white.

I ask a question a few minutes ago about teeth whiteners, and a lot of people answered that hydrogen peroxide works well.
They told me to gargle it/ make a paste with baking soda.

Is this safe?

Ive been using it for a couple of months and my teeth are already whiter,I use it like a mouth wash except I keep it in mt mouth for about five minutes,spit it out and do it again.Its the cheapest and fastest way to whiten teeth.

I am looking for a cheap and fast way to whiten my teeth for a wedding in two weeks. I have been reading alot about hydrogen peroxide and baking soda and what not. I have slightly crooked teeth and so i dont think the white strips will work that well with my teeth. Has anyone used the hydrogen peroxide for whitening teeth, what was the recipe and how often do i use it. Also, how quickly did your teeth start whitening?
