how can you make your gums more pink?
okay, so i’m whitening my teeth at the moment.. but my gums are a dark color. and they usually are when i whiten them. when i’m done whitening them.. will they become pink after wards? oh and by the way i use opalescence whitening gel. i use my retainer for it. you just squeeze the gel into it, and sleep with the retainer in for 8-10 hours over night. is there something i should do to make them look healthy and pink?? anything i should be eating more or less of?
As long as your gums are healthy, they will return to their normal shade. The bleaching gel sometimes irritates the gums and causes some redness.
Just be sure to brush and floss nightly and your gums will be fine.
My dentist always told me to floss really well and brush the gums gently with a toothbrush to get them more of a pink color.
